Project: Sea Trek Adventures is a small, personal, activity holiday company. They are UK based but operate a Sailing/Beach Club out of Kefalonia and Skiing/Snowboarding in the French Alps. Initially the project was to create a resort tee print, but as we looked deeper into the structure of the company, it’s name, and the business future growth plans, we identified some fundamental problems. The company needed a backward step and relaunch as Trek Adventures. Sea Trek, Snow Trek and Land Trek would then all sit at the next tier of operations. The new branding needed to reflect the three parts of the company all being part of the parent company. As if radiating outwards from it. They could then be marketed individually or as part of the whole. Opportunity for cross selling was also welcome. Additional holiday styles would then slot into one of the sub-brands, for example Land Trek does walking holidays, it could also represent cycling holidays as well as fitness holidays.

Establishing this as the plan, we had to first develop the new corporate ID including new logos for the three operating platforms. A new website look and printed promotional material was also needed as well as the resort tee print that started the ball rolling.

NEW: It was only a matter of time, as Trek Adventures built on their success, that we were asked to revisit the company logo to add a completely new ‘arm’ to the logo to reflect the expansion in types of holidays offered. Luckily this had always been planned for, so integrating a new ‘arch’ was an easy fix. The roll-out and update could then be easy and quick with minimum costs.
