Project: The next stage in our ongoing relationship with Chococo was to help with the launch of their third retail shop in Exeter. Visiting the empty site we drew up initial design proposals for the different parts of the shop including the fascia, the stairwell, all ares downstairs and the café on the first floor. The brief was to retain the companies artisan style and not give off a corporate feel. The result is a spacious, fun and funky shop, referred to as a Chocolate House, full of fabulous fresh chocolate and a comfortable informal café. The plan is to use this model to update their existing two shops, as well as for the planned expansion into more retail units around the UK.
