Project: Rarely do you meet an artisan ‘maker’ with such fanatical attention to detail and understanding of traditional production processes and materials. Rapson de Pauley are makers of leather and suede belts and bead jewellery. The leather is sourced from some of the most recognised established suppliers in the UK, the processes in production are traditional, deliberate and very handmade. The metal buckles are cast in brass and bronzes again using traditional methods. The bone and glass beads are sourced from ethical suppliers around the world, the ribbon and silk threads the best available. The result is an eclectic collection of beautiful items produced in a purist, artisan way. All we had to do was to match this ethic and photograph the product sympathetically, develop the brand and create a website platform to sell from, leaving the product plenty of space to sell itself.
